Global warming, air pollution, glacial melting
rising sea levels, extreme weather, vegetation degradation
species extinction, and greenhouse effect…
Environmental issues are increasingly impacting our lives.
In 2020, China formally proposed
its goals of reaching peak carbon emissions by 2030
and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
To achieve the “Dual Carbon” goal,
everyone is actively
saving electricity, driving less,
using eco-friendly materials, and choosing clean energy alternatives
to conserve energy and cut carbon emissions.
Kingdee is steadfast in its commitment to green and low-carbon development.
Kingdee Cloud Building
is built according to the requirements for China Green Building Three Star Certification
and has been awarded the LEED Platinum Pre-certification.
The curtain wall system, ventilation system, and elevator system
are all meticulously designed for intelligent energy management.
The Kingdee Park is built to help naturally regulate the building’s climate,
adhering to high environmental standards for carbon emission reduction.

is a living, breathing building that works with nature.
Green Standard
The “Earth Hour” event held at the end of March every year by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) raises awareness of the importance of energy conservation and environmental protection. Kingdee Cloud Building, constructed according to green building standards, enables everyone working here to conserve resources without even realizing it and enjoy a green and healthy office space.
From the outset, Kingdee Cloud Building was designed to meet theextremelystringent standard for China Green Building Three Star Certification. The ecological impact on its surroundings, indoor comfort, energy efficiency and emission reduction in daily activities were fully considered in the design phase. The completed building blends with the natural surroundings and offers a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor landscapes, making everyday work a mini vacation. The intelligent and eco-friendly equipment helps building occupants reduce costs and enhance efficiency, benefiting people and our planet.

For this reason, Kingdee Cloud Building has been awarded the LEED Platinum Pre-certification, which is hailed as the “Oscar Award” in the green building sector. While the world celebrates “Earth Hour” by switching off lights for an hour every year, Kingdee Cloud Building saves resources each and every moment. Going green is not just our belief; it’s a daily reality for everyone who works and lives here.
“Living” Curtain Wall Unit
You may first be attracted by the building’s diamond-shaped facade, but a deeper look into its structure will help you better appreciate this eco-friendly and vibrant haven. First, the flat curtain wall units are folded into three-dimensional forms, which creates a rich sense of depth and enhances the architectural aesthetics. Second, the daylighting angle of the building and the relationship between the building’s latitude and sunlight are fully considered in this design in order to create facade units that adapt to the environmental parameters. These units are arranged both horizontally and vertically, harmonizing with the natural environment and climate.

These “living” curtain wall units appear to be a natural part of the environment. They automatically adapt to the changing rhythms of the day, night, and seasons, trying to capture abundant natural light. They also automatically balance indoor temperatures, reduce energy consumption in offices, and minimize carbon emissions.
Triple – silver LOW – E Insulated Glass with Automatic Temperature Regulation and Noise Reduction
The 53,451 square meters of the exterior curtain wall is fully clad in triple silver LOW-E insulated glass. With the use of other types of metals and compound materials, the curtain wall has 9 layers of coatings in total, delivering exceptional thermal insulation, noise reduction, and energy-saving benefits. The design effectively controls exterior heat transfer in summer and reduces interior heat losses in winter like an automatic air regulation system that consumes no energy.

Meanwhile, triple silver LOW-E insulated glass also serves as a top-notch noise reduction system with exceptional performance. Noises from cars on the roads and even planes in the sky can be shielded. The windows block exterior noise and help create a quiet office environment.
The Environment – Friendly Code —— Letter K
The customized “K” (initial of Kingdee) shaped perforated pattern can also reduce environmental impact. To minimize bird collisions with the building, Kingdee Cloud Building is specially designed with an aesthetically pleasing perforated facade in a unique pattern of the letter K. The pattern is specially designed based on the required perforation rate, which reduces surface reflectivity, enhances visibility, and better aligns with birds’ vision to prevent collisions.

This ingenious design not only embodies human-nature symbiosesis and safeguards the well-being of birds, but also incorporates energy conservation and emission reduction considerations.
“Breathable” Natural Ventilation System
The K-shaped perforated windows are also an integral part of the natural ventilation system of Kingdee Cloud Building. Most traditional office buildings use central air conditioning for ventilation, but Kingdee Cloud Building is designed with an innovative natural ventilation system.

This system ingeniously utilizes these perforated windows to take in fresh air, creating a “breathing building.” It allows the refreshing sea breeze from Shenzhen Bay and the natural wind from the Dasha River greenway to enter the building even when the central air conditioning is turned off. The design offers an eco-friendly alternative to energy use and provides building occupants with more flexible options for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Magnetic Levitation Central Air – Conditioning System

Smart technologies are adopted to lower energy consumption and enhance comfort. The building is equipped with CLIMAVENETA magnetic levitation chillers, which work efficiently at partial load and cut daily energy consumption by about 30% compared to conventional air conditioners. The natural ventilation system of Kingdee Cloud Building takes in an impressive 31 cubic meters of fresh air per hour per person with forest-level negative oxygen ion concentration. People in the building are just like working in the forested nature.
The “High – Speed Rail” of Elevators: Not Only Energy – Saving but Also Time – Saving
From entrances and exits to elevators, the building is designed to reduce carbon footprint and enhance occupants’ well-being. The 20 Schindler Swiss-engineered high-speed elevators in the building effectively meet business needs for efficiency, while saving 29% of energy. Each elevator ride is a small contribution to the environment, bringing good changes day after day.

In addition, Schindler high-speed elevators offer superior time efficiency. Powered by facial recognition and AI-powered smart assistant technology, the system can automatically call the elevator to a user’s destination floor without manual input. The longest wait time is about 27.5 seconds from the ground floor to the top floor. This translates to a 30% reduction in average wait time. The agony of morning rush hour queues and being one minute late is a thing of the past.
Kingdee Park
Kingdee Cloud Building boasts a four-story atrium, harboring a rare 2,000-square-meter vertical ecological garden, known as Kingdee Park. The concrete jungle is hence lightened by a secret garden. The garden, with an open-space structure, is adorned with over 100 species of rare plants. It not only naturally regulates the micro-climate of the building, but also serves as a source of inspiration for office work.

Spanning an area equivalent to five standard basketball courts, Kingdee Park stands as a prime example of ecological integration, even within the bustling metropolis of Shenzhen. Its layered and symbiotic greenery forms a self-sustaining ecosystem, ingeniously regulating the building’s temperature while infusing the office space with natural vitality. Moreover, the garden is equipped with multi-functional LED displays, so it can be easily turned into a mini-conference room or a roadshow venue anytime.
