SMU-SRA Singapore Delegation Visits Kingdee

  • Aug 07, 2025

On the afternoon of July 24, the “SMU-SRA Singapore Entrepreneurs Internationalization Program” delegation, organized by Xinhua International Education Group and Singapore Management University (SMU) with support from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), visited Kingdee Group’s Shenzhen headquarters. The delegation comprised members from the Singapore Retailers Association as well as several well-known retail brands, distributors, and consumer technology companies. Their aim was to gain in-depth insights into the digital transformation trends and AI application prospects of the retail industry by engaging with China’s leading digital management enterprise.

In recent years, Singapore’s retail industry has been facing multiple challenges: the acceleration of online-offline integration, rapid shifts in consumer behavior, and the dual pressures of cost and efficiency. Against this backdrop, an increasing number of Singaporean retail enterprises regard digital transformation as a core pathway to enhancing competitiveness, with particular attention to the practical value of AI in customer insights, supply chain optimization, and store management.

During the exchange at Kingdee’s Shenzhen headquarters, Mr. Zhong Wei, Director of Kingdee China’s Partner Development and Support Department, emphasized the shared characteristics between Shenzhen and Singapore—both are dynamic, innovation-driven cities that thrive on youth, technology, and global vision. He noted that such an environment provides fertile ground for digital transformation, and expressed his enthusiasm for fostering deeper exchanges between enterprises in both regions.

Mr. Su Guoping, Senior Consultant at Kingdee Group, shared representative cases of digital transformation in the retail and consumer goods sectors. From big data-driven precision marketing to AI-powered sales forecasting and intelligent replenishment, and from omnichannel supply chain integration to end-to-end financial management optimization, Kingdee’s scenario-based solutions showcased its deep industry insight and implementation capability. These practical examples resonated strongly with the delegation.

Mr. Song Mingjun, Senior Consultant at Kingdee Group, gave an in-depth presentation on AI’s role in reshaping enterprise management. He introduced real-world applications of Kingdee’s AI technologies—ranging from intelligent assistants that support operational decision-making, to automated business workflows and customer behavior analytics. The Singaporean entrepreneurs expressed great interest in these scalable, practical innovations and discussed how to bring them into their own operations.

Since the establishment of Kingdee Singapore, the Group has been committed to bringing its years of accumulated expertise in EMAI (Enterprise Management and AI Intelligence) into the Singapore market. Through localized teams and services, Kingdee helps Singaporean enterprises address management pain points and enhance their digital capabilities. This exchange was not only a sharing of experience but also a valuable opportunity for both sides to explore deeper cooperation in future business.

At the end of the event, the delegation visited the 38th floor of Kingdee Cloud Center and its brand-new exhibition hall, experiencing firsthand the latest digital products and industry solutions, and further appreciating Kingdee’s ongoing investment in innovation and industry empowerment.

This exchange inspired more collaborative ideas through the clash of perspectives. In the future, Kingdee will continue leveraging the synergy of its global experience and localized services in Singapore, working hand-in-hand with Singaporean retail enterprises to embrace a new business era driven by digitalization and AI.
